Smokitten is a serious game for quitting smoking... or never starting!
Designed to help smokers quit cigarettes and raise awareness among young people about the dangers of tobacco, Smokitten, despite its educational purpose, is first and foremost a video game that engages the player with fun, enjoyable play sessions and replays. It is part of Games for Change, a collection of video games that promote social change.
Smokitten and Smokitten Park have been available on both Android and iOS smartphones and tablets since September 2018.
DOWiNO and our team have collaborated on this project. To complete the project successfully, the teams collaborated with the Hygée center, a cancer prevention center in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, and CIPRET Valais, an association specializing in addiction prevention. We worked on developing the application.
