Beauty of the World is an iPad app created for cosmetics brand Cargill.
It provides an augmented reality experience showing beauty products using physical tables equipped with visual markers. These markers enable 3D animations to be positioned on the table, which users can then view and interact with through their tablets.
Four tables were created for Cargill's exhibition in a trade show. They represented four continents with their specific methods of manufacturing cosmetics.
The product to be displayed is physically placed on a small platform in the centre of the table.
(in the videos we produced, we simulated the tables with cardboard circles containing the visual markers and dummy products to replicate the experience)
